Meeting of the management team.
Integration of Markus Castor, Research Director at the DFK and Sandra Bazin, lecturer at the University of Franche-Comté into the management team.
After the organisation of the two days in Versailles and Munich, which made it possible to publicize the project, it was decided that, in order to stimulate research, it would be preferable to organize more targeted meetings to encourage reflection on the ceiling object: lighter monthly half-day workshops, initially only between members of the team, then with an outside speaker, and two-day workshop-visits in front of works of art twice a year, which would offer experimental situations in front of the ceilings.
Finalization of the general calendar for the last year of the project:
– A volume in October 2024 with 5-6 case studies, 5-6 thematic approaches (such as ceiling and gender, staircase and ceiling, iconography of the fall, etc.) 5-6 articles on digital, plus a large synthesis essay resulting from an internal seminar for the whole team (in September) and international presentations during the year. Each member of the team has one or two publications.
– Final colloquium based on this plural reflection with an opening to other countries, February 2025 and publication (delivered for printing) end of March 2025.
